Dachung, 14-years-old - Dachung joined the project in 2001. He is a social fellow who studies in the preparatory school, and has no fear. Dachung speaks fluent Chinese and Tibetan. (as reported by his teacher)

In Dachung's own words (directly translated): I come from namling county. Since I come from the countryside I like climbing very much. When I was little I allways liked to climb mountains. I am blind but I want to show to other people that I can climb. I want use this good chance to climb up. When I climb up I can become healthy and strong. Also when I climb I can show to other people that blind people can do the same as sighted people can do. I am also sure that I can climb a mountain very well.  Thank you.
