As a professional photographer/photojournalist I travel to the farthest corners of the earth documenting modern day adventurists and capturing those moments that draw you into my subject's world. While forging a demanding style of photography I've made ascents in mountain ranges around the globe (and a few snowboard descents as well). After summiting Mt. Everest while shooting the NFB-Allegra Everest Expedition, my image of Weihenmayer ascending the bulletproof ice of the Lhotse Face at 23,000 feet was chosen for a cover of Time Magazine. Whether on the streets near my Portland, Oregon home or a windswept mountainside, I bring my passion and enthusiasm for capturing the moment wherever I go.
