Join six blind Tibetan teenagers as they attempt to climb a 23,000 foot peak in Tibet, led by the first blind person to summit Mt. Everest, Erik Weihenmayer. Motivate your students to read, write and think beyond what's possible with activities that include reading daily dispatches, communicating with the team and learning about the culture and geography of Tibet.
The live portion of this project runs between September 23, 2004 and October 23, 2004. For a detailed itinerary please click here.
